The Leadership Redondo Class of 2007 is closing in on its fundraising goal with donations totaling close to $37,000.
"We are now in the final stretch to reaching our goal of $45,000. The community is really stepping up to help fund this important memorial. Donations are coming in daily from all over the South Bay, not just Redondo Beach. Every little bit helps," stated project leader Tom Krafick.
The 9-11 Tribute is slated to be completed by September 11, 2008, but all fundraising must be completed by the end of May so materials can be ordered and construction can commence. For more information, contact Tom Krafick at 310-798-1885 or by email at LRB.tribute@gmail.com.
